We are now
proposing that a small industry be created
near Pokhara, at
Bamdi Nepal.
The project plan is designed to create jobs for 200 women weaving
split bamboo mats as well as numerous agricultural jobs growing and
harvesting bamboo. The
industries we intend to compete against are the metal sheet roofing
and plywood that are primarily imports from India.
